On the start to “Living More With Less” I went to the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, Ohio to see A Flock Of Seagulls. The concert was free, there were a lot of people there and a good time was had by all. Although the only original member of the band is the lead singer Mike Score. It did not take away from the experience. I am not a huge fan of them but I did have this on an un-written bucket list to see them or Duran Duran. I guess it is some sort of flash back to the 80’s for me. On to my next adventure.
Starting today I am going to attempt to quit biting my finger nails again. I am using a product called Bite It or No Bite which has a very bad taste. You apply it like fingernail polish. I have found in the past that it yellows the finger nails and you really only nee to apply it to the end of your nails and not the whole thing.
Yesterday my son and grandson went with me over to Dayton Ohio the the National Airforce Museum. If you ever get a chance – you must go. One of the greatest thrills for me is going through the SAM 26000 that carried the body of President John F. Kennedy back from Dallas and saw President Johnson being sworn in with Jackie Kennedy in her blood stained outfit get sworn in as the next President. You are able to walk right through the aircraft which is amazing knowing the history of the plane. As you exit there is a partition that was cut so that they could fit the casket of President Kennedy into the seating area and removed 4 rows of seats. Very, very interesting and I think my grandson learned a couple of things too.
