I watched this episode and agree with what he had to say. Paul McKenna uses a combination of common sense and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

I am trying to incorporate his techniques with a low carb diet for weight loss. Eventually, when I get close to goal weight, I will start adding more carbs into my diet but hope that with these techniques I can keep it off.

Sleeping Better

I am starting to feel a little more room around the waist line but still a long way to go before I can actually say that size 38 is my current size. I think I will need to be in the 220’s before I can even think about size 36 jeans.

The good thing is that I seem to not be having as much trouble falling asleep as I had been. It is not uncommon for me to be up at 1 or 2 am in the morning but lately I have been able to be asleep by 11pm. I’ve been pretty faithful in taking a vitamin every day and I noticed a couple of days ago that I finally hit Ketosis. Ketosis is the state in which if I am correct, is the ultimate state to be in for fat burning.

I also purchased another Deep Fryer yesterday and fried some chicken. I like it because it throughly cooks the chicken on the inside. Something I can’t seem to achieve when I cook it in a skillet.

Another Great Weight Loss Day

This morning I weighed in at 265.4 lbs that down almost another pound from yesterday. Go Barry, Go. My immediate goal is to reach 250’s by the end of April that’s 5.4 pounds although I hope that it will come much sooner.

I watched a show yesterday on TLC call “I can make you thin”. Did anybody see it? What do you think? I think it is an easy and probably much overlooked plan in weight loss. I am interested in seeing what he has to say next week.
