31 Day Diet Kick Start

I know Steve has his Hot 100 day until the end of the year fitness challenge. I didn’t jump on the band wagon for that one but there is still 31 days left in December plus today and tomorrow which makes it 33 days until New Years Eve. I’m giving you two days to jump on board with me. What do you say? Are you in it with me?

I plan on setting a goal to eat healthy for the remainder of the year. Zig Ziglar says it takes 21 days to form or break a habit. I am going to commit 33 days towards this goal. How about you?

My Plan:

  1. Walk a minimum of 5,000 steps per day.
  2. Eat less than 2200 calories per day
  3. Sleep a minimum of 7 hours every day.
  4. Do not eat after 8 pm.
  5. Blog every day about Weight loss.
  6. Take a multi-vitamin daily.

I know that sounds simplistic but it actually works for me. You can create your own plan. These are my minimums. If I walk 10,00 steps then terriffic. If I only eat 2000 calories – fantastic etc.

Survived Thanksgiving

Well, as you know I have done absolutely nothing towards my goals this past two weeks but I was able to muddle through Thanksgiving with only a 1 pound gain. That in total is 6 pounds heavier than 2 weeks ago but nothing like a new day to start going again.

My weight this morning was 283 lbs. Which after all of my eating frenzy is still not bad. The sad part is that I did not enjoy it. I keep thinking about my diet, YOU, and it was like a little angel sitting on my shoulder almost every bit. Tomorrow is a new day!

Newsflash: Diet gone to hell, gave up big losses – Starting fresh today!

I’ve got the rest of the week off starting today. I’ve been working on cleaning the house this morning and getting my priorities in order. I have purposely and with forethought cheated on my diet and it shows. I didn’t weigh myself this morning but yesterday I was back up to 282 lbs. Will advise more later.
