Today is my 21st day of not smoking with Chantix. I have saved over $210 so far because of it. Not really, because the Chantix has cost me $120 dollars but still that is almost $100 dollars in savings. It is as good as I could have ever dreamed it to be. You know they say it takes 21 days to make or break a habit so let’s hope they are right.
My only regret was not trying this sooner. If there has been anything that I would deem as a miracle pill than Chantix would be it. If they made this into a diet pill then I would be skinny but we can only hope. I have had little symptoms with this medicine. Make sure you eat when you take it to avoid nausea.
The only side effects have been an occasional weird dream or nightmare. For instance: Last night I had a dream that I took my grandson to a computer store and purchased Microsoft C for him. I argued with the cashier that even though the price was $49.00, I was told by “Tom” over the phone to mention his name and get it for $39.00. Ok, here is the weird part – My grandson is not even 2 years old yet. He or I do not know how to program in any language, who the heck is Tom, and Microsoft C is a several hundred dollar program and not $39.00 – I think?
What a weird dream!
LOL! Congrats on making it to day 21. Keep posting updates please. I’d LOVE for my husband to try chantix.
Weird is right. I also have had at least 4 dreams of me cheating. Not with a women but with cigarettes. Half a dozen nightmares that would make Steven King’s novels seem 1st grade stuff. If I could only learn to write them down as soon as I wake up.
