Low Carb Turn Around - 10% Gone

Well, it’s been just about 6 days and I’ve lost 5 pounds reverting back to my low carb diet. I am starting to feel really good about this and there are times in the day when I get excited with anticipation of my pending weight loss. You know the old saying “Never count your chickens before they hatch”. I can just see my self slim and trim again.

I have actually lost over 10% of my weight loss goal to 199 lbs already from my high of 278.8 lbs. It’s hard to believe that in less than 2 weeks I could knock off 10%. If that held true then I could hit goal as early as 3 1/2 to 4 months from now. That would be sweet!

One thing that does worry me is loose skin. I know that I am not 500 pounds but I still am wanting to lose 75 lbs. I hope that my body can shrink enough that I will not have to worry about excessive skin like others have commented about. I’ll worry about that later but right now I am starting to get on a natural high.

My first short term goal is to get past the 262 lb mark I set just a month and a half ago. Actually breaking into the 250’s would be fantastic. I had a decent day today and had pork chops for dinner so let’s see how tomorrow goes with the weigh in.
