Since I am into the low carb thingy. I was just looking as to what title my next blog post should be. I thought that it had to do something with Eggs. I eat them a lot, as a matter of fact I eat them every day. So just for kicks I thought I would go to the site that always has that commercial about “The Incredible Edible Egg“.
I found out some interesting information like - “Each of the roughly 280 million laying birds in the U.S. produces from 250 to 300 eggs a year. In total, the U.S. produces about 75 billion eggs a year, about 10% of the world supply”.
How about this one I bet you don’t know, “A chef’s hat is said to have a pleat for each of the many ways you can cook eggs.” Another interesting fact is that only 60% of the eggs produced are used by consumers. The rest end up in a variety of things such as cake mixes, mayonnaise and I even thought they said Shampoo. The Egg is greatly under appreciated and thank goodness with today’s gas prices, they are still relatively cheap.
He’s to you Mr. Egg for making all my weight loss dreams come true - I salute you!
