Going Low Carb - The Cave Man Diet
Thursday, May 15th, 2008I am frustrated to only see another .2 lbs loss. After a whole week I am only down 1 pound. I should have at the very least seen 3-5 my first week back on the diet. I’m making a commitment to go low carb at least until I reach my desired weight and then gradually switch to a low fat diet.
I’ve been reading and watching a lot of stuff of Low Carb versus Low Fat. Basically, there is no difference with these exceptions: Protein seems to suppress the appetite and thus on a Low Carb diet you actual eat less. I saw a commercial for Bison Burgers last night while eating a small salad and that was the last straw. I want my meat, eggs and cheese. You can also look at my weight loss chart and see that I lost 12 pounds a month ago in two weeks using the low carb program.
