Low Carb Memorial Day Weekend

YouTube Preview ImageI had a really good and bad day. The bad part was getting up late and driving to work caused me to miss breakfast. I had a bid due at noon so I missed lunch. The good news is that I had a decent dinner and feel good. I want to take some time this weekend and get re-acquainted with the gym.

This morning found me to be a pound lighter than yesterday at 267 pounds. That is 11 pounds down from my high and 5 pounds down since I started back on my Low-Carb way of life. This is the weekend for cooking out and while it is most low fat dieters worst nightmare, it is a great weekend for the BBQ grill with some hot dogs, steak, burgers and other goodies.

Weight: 267.4 lbs

    Congrats on the loss! I do a low-carb thing too but I tweaked it a lil. (I eat lots of fruits n veggies that aren’t part of the low carb thing, but I don’t think fruits are bad for you) I guess I live on fruits, veggies, grilled chicken and salads lol. I lost 92 lbs from March to Aug. But I biked or walked 3-5 miles a day too so I’m sure that had somethin to do with it. I’ve slacked since Aug. n gained 35 lbs back (eek!) but I’m back on it as of yesterday (woohoo lol) =) J.

    You know it works so hopefully it won’t take you too long to lose that 35 lbs. I belong to the YMCA and need to start going again. I believe that weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise. The exercise helps to firm up the body :)

    Oh I’m sure it won’t take that long. I usually lose all that I’ve gained plus some in the first 3 weeks when I get back on track. I agree with the percentages. Good luck with your goals! =)

    I hope you are still on the lowcarb diet. It is one of the best ways to lose those excess pounds. I have lost 130 pounds. If you need support there is a great support site called lowcarbfriends … people are there to help you stay on track and lose those extra pounds.cheri
