Walk Off The Weight

I couldn’t hardly sleep last night. I got up and took a quick shower and put on my gym clothes. I gathered my work clothes and put them in my gym bag and headed out.

I got to the gym at 5 am but they don’t open until 5:15 am so I sat and listened to the radio for a few minutes. When the gym opened it was amazing to see so many people at that time of the morning. I finally found out where all the skinny people go. Me and another person were probably the only 2 over weight. Almost all of the women had beach bodies except for a few that I actually thought were too skinny.

I completed my workout on the elliptical machine in 30 minutes which burned approximately 220 calories. I forgot to mention that I had one and a half bowls of Special K before I left for the gym. That was 330 calories plus 80 calories for the milk for approximately 410 calories. So I was able to work off about half of my morning breakfast.

After work I entered more information into my FitDay software and now I can accurately see when I am heading into trouble and when I am on target. As of right this moment at 8 pm I have eaten 1,764 calories for the day. My goal is to eat 2,276 or less per day to achieve my weight loss. That is based upon me cutting back 1025 calories per day. If you remember that 500 calories more or less per day equals 1 pound per week. Therefore I should lose 2 pounds every week if I stick with this plan.
