Today I got the chance to really see how the Omron Pedometer worked. All I can say is that I am more than pleased. I only can assume that it kept an accurate track of my steps but based on my trials last night it seemed as if it was within 1 step plus or minus for 200 steps.
I know that it accurately detected when I was doing as it calls aerobic steps (10 minutes continual walking). I know this because after I came home and it cooled down outside, I took a walk around my neighborhood. It uploads your measurements to the computer and plots your progress throughout the day. So I can tell when I walk more or less and where I can make improvements.
Another nice feature is that it keeps track of your measurements for days so If you can not upload your information right away then its ok. I set my goals low and will increase them over time. Take a look below on how I did my first day. You can see where I was inactive during certain portions of the day. Six to Seven pm I took a nap, if your wondering why no results. In conclusion I highly recommend this Pedometer as the one to get. I’ve had several before this and I think this one is the best on the market.
